Tallahassee is gearing up for an exciting summer filled with a variety of entertainment options ranging from charity events to musical performances. As temperatures rise, residents have multiple opportunities to enjoy indoor activities across the city.

One of the standout events is the 40th annual Artopia, hosted by Big Bend Cares on June 28 at the Tucker Civic Center. Another must-see performance is by multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Rick Price, who will take the stage at the House of Music Tallahassee on June 27 at 8 p.m. Tickets for this event are $20 when purchased in advance and $25 on the day of the show. Price, known for his hit single “Heaven Knows” and nearly 70 million Spotify streams, promises to deliver an unforgettable musical experience.

The Leon High School Choral Department adds to the summer lineup by presenting “Hairspray” from June 26 to July 6. This musical features nearly 50 students celebrating the vibrant culture of 1962 Baltimore with performances that vary in timing. Tickets for this production are available for $20 to $40.

On June 28, the Downtown Concert Series at Adderley Amphitheater will mark its 10-year anniversary with a free concert featuring the Lee Boys. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and enjoy offerings from local food trucks.

For fans of live music, The Moon will host The RockitZ on June 28, with reserved tickets priced at $32 and general admission tickets at $20. In the spirit of community engagement, the Tallahassee Roller Derby team will face off against the Sugar Sands Roller Derby on the same day at FAMU’s Hansel E. Tookes, Sr. Recreation Center. Advance tickets are available for $15, while tickets at the door will cost $18.

Additionally, Amicus Brewing will present its Final Friday event on June 27, featuring live music and the launch of a new White Grapefruit Session IPA.
