Friday Fun: Kicking Off the Celebration
The festivities begin on Friday, December 27. Starting at 7 p.m., attendees will be welcomed in true fashion with a Native American welcome. At 7:30 p.m., get ready for an upbeat ‘Dance Through the Decades’ showcase. This thrilling segment will combine dance and dramatic reenactments, providing a vivid, entertaining experience through Tallahassee’s past. And to cap off the first night, there will be a toast to 200 years of Tallahassee at 10:30 p.m..
Saturday: A Day of Activities!
On Saturday, December 28, prepare for a day bursting with activities! The morning will kick off with a host of delightful offerings including a petting zoo, pony rides, food trucks, and a range of unique vendors that will keep everyone entertained and fed. The action continues at 11 a.m. with a Native American stickball game, followed by captivating storytelling sessions at 1 p.m., showcasing tales from Native, Black, Spanish, and cracker storytellers.
