Mark your calendars, Tallahassee! The highly anticipated 30th Annual Super Clean Sweep is just around the corner, happening on Saturday, March 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. This iconic community service event offers a fantastic opportunity for residents to come together and make a palpable difference in our beautiful city.
This year, volunteers can roll up their sleeves and get involved in a plethora of activities that are sure to benefit our neighborhoods. Whether you feel like picking up litter, planting trees, shrubs, or flowers, painting over graffiti, or even sharing your own ideas to enhance local green spaces, there’s a role for you! Your caring spirit and willingness to contribute are what make the Super Clean Sweep an amazing experience, and it’s a great way to give back to the community.
Before heading out on the day of the event, volunteers will need to swing by the American Legion parking lot at Lake Ella for supply pick-up. This will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. so make sure to arrive early to gather everything you need. Don’t worry about the logistics; Keep Tallahassee Beautiful will provide all the necessary guidelines, bags, gloves, and designated clean-up locations.
