In addition to his practical experience, LaMura holds an advanced Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and bioethics from the University of Virginia.
The leadership transition comes in the wake of Chris Mosley’s departure, which took effect on February 21, 2025. Mosley stepped down from the CEO role after less than two years.
