Eubanks, who worked as a church employee, was the subject of an investigation since October 9, 2024, before authorities issued a warrant for his arrest. As of September 18, references to Eubanks have been removed from Morningside Church’s leadership web page, where he had served as a worship leader since April 2020. The charges against him include cruelty towards a child, use of a computer to lure a child, and obscene communication, which further highlights community fears surrounding safety and the protection of vulnerable individuals.
